Today’s girls are experiencing a laundry list of difficulties that will shape their outlook on the world for a lifetime. If viewed without whole trust in God, these trying experiences can feel very overwhelming.
Good news though: we are not the first humans to experience difficulty! In fact, Scripture is full of stories of hardship. In Isaiah we read: “They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks.”
Living in the hope of the Messiah, who we know to be our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we are called to do just this—to transform difficulty into goodness—to build resiliency. How can you aid your girl in transforming her sense of overwhelm into resiliency?
Isaiah 2:4, NIV
