If your girl is an adolescent now, this is a good season to adopt a regular Bible study cadence on her own. You’ve led her to approach Scripture and glean the Lord’s Truth. Now she’s mature enough to read a chapter and ask some questions. If her facial expression says, “You want me to WHAT?!” give her a structure to launch her process.
Consider the “O. I. A.” method—Observe, Interpret, Apply. She can read a chapter of the Bible—just observe what the text says. She can write questions she has, bring them to you, and discuss—interpret. Then together you can talk about what God is revealing to her—apply.
From her adolescent years to her whole life long, a method of Bible study can illuminate her path with the Lord.
Psalm 119:105
