The Value of Her Having Lifelong Godly Friends

What fruit does friendship yield? For your girl, friends help her navigate the world. They help her through homework, share common hobbies, imaginative playground fun. As she matures, her friends will help her understand her aptitudes, her passions, her beliefs, and her potential career path. And someday, far into the future during her more “established years,” friends will serve as her sounding boards, yoke carriers, prayer warriors, and memory keepers.

No matter our age, friendships are a blessing given to us by God for our life’s journey. Scripture is full of Godly friendships—Jesus and his disciples, Naomi and Ruth, Paul and Timothy.

Does your girl have a circle of Godly friends? Christian camp, Bible study, even an American Heritage Girls Troop are all great ways to make new connections.
