“It’s not that bad…” Recently heard your girl justify a behavior she knew was wrong? Twisting a story to avoid getting into trouble, lashing out at her brother because “he deserved it”, or watching a questionable YouTube video. She might brush these off as “not that bad”, but God wants more for us than double-talking sin to avoid repentance.
The truth is: twisting a story—that’s lying. “He deserved it” to her brother—that’s rage. A risqué video—that’s moral impurity.
1 Thessalonians 4:3 tells us God wants more for her than half-hearted living. He desires her complete sanctification. And He gave her the Holy Spirit and His Word to make this possible. So lead her in this by your example, regular time in The Word, in repentance, and in prayer.
