Teach Her to Decipher the Holy Spirit Above All Other Voices in Her Life

Girls today process through thousands of layers of voices in their lives, from both Godly and worldly places. Advice, taglines, messaging, music—it all has to be deciphered, filtered, then applied. Don’t do this. Always do that. Try to avoid this. Never ever do that! So many voices!

How does your girl know to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit in her heart? Think to your own walk with the Lord. Remember what Jesus taught about the Holy Spirit in John 14, a voice within us forever giving us the power to overcome sin. As she becomes more attuned to the Holy Spirit’s voice over time, her ability to decipher right from wrong will grow. This “soul check” is a generous gift from God!

Teach her to embrace the Holy Spirit’s voice and work in her heart all the days of her life.
