It’s political primary season! In the United States, we’ve already been seeing political ads with candidates on the various campaign trails. Your girl and her friends might have had healthy discussions about the upcoming presidential election—that’s a good thing! While a hot button topic publicly, it is important for Christians to come together, discuss, and seek a Biblical Worldview on politics, elected officials, and the laws of our nation.

What does your daughter think about the candidates? Does she agree or disagree with their policies and values? As you get to know her thoughts, remind her of 1 Peter which says, “Show proper respect to everyone…fear God, honor the emperor.”

Christians should actively pray for the Sovereign Lord’s will to be done through all kinds of earthly ways—yes, even the political system.
