Sweeping the Floors of Your Girl’s Heart before God

During your family’s next day of chores, take advantage of those dust bunnies to teach your girl about the heart. How does dirt in a corner connect with the soul? Quite well, actually! You see, the dust building up goes unnoticed until we lift up the rug, then it’s all exposed—we’ve been living with all that?!  

God wants us to bring our raw mess before Him. Jesus said everything in the heart’s darkest places will be brought to light. We can’t keep it hidden from Him while expecting a healthy soul.  

Teach your girl that confessing the sin of her heart and trusting Jesus will make her life new and clean in Him. His promise to forgive our sins and cleanse our hearts is one she can trust.
