In a world of instant gratification and keeping up with the latest trends, it may be tempting for your girl to spend all of her allowance money or part-time job paycheck on impractical things.
The challenge is deciding the difference between purchases that are beneficial versus ones that are superficial.
Help your daughter understand the value of saving her money for the future. Encourage her to take a pause before making a purchase to determine its true worth. Both what we buy and why we buy is a direct reflection of what’s in our hearts. That’s why the apostle Matthew tells us to store up our treasures in heaven and not just here on earth.
Money is a beautiful blessing from God–not just for ourselves—but for our family and those in need around us! God just wants his girls to spend her money wisely.
