Today’s culture feels toxically divided. Ideological differences polarize citizens of our country. Election seasons can feel especially daunting, with attack ads rearing their ugly heads and hateful, slandering speech thrown from both sides of the aisle.
As the Apostle Paul wrote in his first letter to the Corinthians: “But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.”
It’s vital that we remind our girls that despite our ideological differences, we share oneness. One nation under God worth fighting for. One humanity worth investing in. One eternal kingdom we’re all working towards.
