It’s heart-wrenching to hear when pillars of the Christian community renounce their faith because of doubt in God. Especially when you’ve looked to them for inspiration, like popular and powerful Christian authors and songwriters.  

Scripture tells us in 2 Timothy that we live in a time when people will begin to value temporal things above God, denying His power altogether. Turning away from God is Satan’s strongest desire for us all.   

What do you do if your daughter expresses doubt in God? She may start questioning whether God is real, or whether church should be a necessary part of her life. Take time to have honest conversations with her. At the same time, make sure she’s exposed to the gospel through her books, movies, and TV shows. Seek God and He will help you cast-out the lies of doubt with His unchanging truth.
