Mental Health is Found Under the Stars

Have you ever stepped outside on a starry night to take in the majesty of the heavens? Being part of the outdoors provides opportunities for discovery and is a benefit to mental health. A recent study shared that kids who have access to nature are less anxious, more attentive, and happier. That’s a recipe that every family would enjoy!

Next time your girl is feeling a bit stressed, grab a blanket, a flashlight, and some healthy snacks. Head outdoors to look up at the stars and reflect on the awesome beauty of the cosmos orchestrated by the Divine Creator.

Reflect on these words from Micah: When I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.”
