When Olympians prepare for their respective events, we commonly call this process “training” resulting in a well-disciplined mind and body. Athletes don’t achieve great things without the tension of hardship, failing, trying again. You see, world records aren’t set on the first try.
Like the athlete, the Christian girl’s walk should embrace God the Father’s wise discipline—a tool for training her into great Kingdom things. Proverbs 3:11-12 teaches that God’s discipline is a direct sign of His love over us. So, He wants us to be more like Him out of an abundance of love!
If your girl struggles to trust God’s faithful love in her life’s hard times, remind her of His tried and true character. He is always working for her deepest good.
