“Mom, after you pay for our food, why do you have to pay more?” This teaching moment at the restaurant table holds a discipling opportunity! How can you take a run-of-the-mill tip to your server and transform it into a Kingdom impact? Teach your girl about Christian generosity.  

While explaining to her that a tip is an added measure of gratitude for one who served your family, you can also dig into the heart behind it—a heart from 2 Corinthians 9:7. As Christ followers, we do not give begrudgingly—but rather generously and in JOY! 

Harness the next tipping opportunity to teach your girl about the heart of a generous Christian, and how that act can, in turn, bless another—sometimes more than we can understand.
