Journaling: A Healthy Way of Making and Holding on to Memories

Baby books are adorable reminders of our children’s development. Without capturing these moments, sayings, and important dates, we might not remember them all!

Much like a baby book, one of the greatest gifts a girl can give to her future self is a well-kept journal. As we age, we start to identify the personality traits we possess and unpack the experiences of our childhood. But as the years pass, our memories can fade. A journal can be a beautiful way for your daughter to reflect on the life story God is orchestrating for her.

If she’s new to the idea of journaling, consider seeking out a prompted journal or devotional—oftentimes these resources can get at the heart of how we’re feeling and how God is working, capturing the essence and importance of this moment in time.
