“Mom, they told me my words were hateful—but all I said was that God loves them.”  

These conversations are happening more and more often with Christian girls in today’s world. Our culture has reached an era where the Truth of God’s love and justice is now met with astounding opposition. Your girl will find each time she courageously speaks even the simplest truth of God, she may be challenged by enemies. How can you guide her to maintain boldness while offering those enemies the love of a compassionate Lord?  

In Matthew 5:44, Jesus flipped the norm upside down by teaching “pray for those who mistreat you” and “bless those who curse you.” He didn’t say to withhold the Truth, but He understood that only the Lord can change a heart of hate and misunderstanding.
