Talk to your daughter about the importance of responsibility. Teach her that helping out at home is both a way to support her family and honor God. In Colossians, Paul says “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the lord as a reward.”

Set aside time for the two of you to create a list of tasks that she can take the lead on. It’s a simple way to plant seeds that will grow into a beautiful flower of responsibility within your girl.
