God has all kinds of creative ways to put families together under His good will and care. No matter how your family is crafted, it’s likely that adoption has touched your girl’s life in some way. From fellow families at church, friends at school, or neighbors in your community.  

Talk with your girl about people—famous and otherwise—who were adopted, and whom God has used to further His Kingdom. People like Simone Biles, famous Olympic medal-winning gymnast, Dave Thomas, founder of the Wendy’s restaurant chain and a foundation for adoption, and JESUS. Yes, our Savior’s miraculous family situation made Him an adopted son to Joseph, his earthly father.  

You can support families on their adoptive journey in countless ways. Be open to pray about your family potentially adopting a child, for God’s glory.
