What is your daughter talented at? Perhaps she’s a doting sibling, who answers every need of a baby brother or sister. Or maybe she has a knack for problem-solving, quick to try and remedy a situation before things turn sour. I encourage you to see these behaviors, nurturing and peace-making, as gifts from God.
It’s been said “Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.” Fostering creativity and exploration in your daughter’s childhood can lead her to discovering the talents that God has given her. A knack for nurturing could mean a career in nursing. A peace-maker could excel in mediating jobs, like social work. God has incredible plans for your girl, and it starts with discovering how she can find her calling.
