Have you checked in with your girl lately for prayer requests? She might be worried about a strained friendship, needing to ask her sibling for forgiveness, or unsure of how much of her allowance to donate to a local need. Not asking for prayer is like settling for crumbs at a feast table—it just doesn’t make sense!
When Jesus was wrapping up the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 7, He earnestly offered people a complete open door of prayer to God. He urged them to ask, seek, knock—bring EVERYTHING to the Lord in prayer and lay it all out.
You and your girl can come both before God—the giver of all good gifts. When asked according to His will, your girl’s prayer life will come alive!
Matthew 7:7-11
