We speak about God’s plan all the time. “For everything a season”, “His ways are better”, “His timing is perfect”. They’re all rooted in the strong, reassuring truth that since God loves each of us intimately.
But what about when life doesn’t feel like it’s going according to plan? A breakup, a college rejection letter, a scary diagnosis, or the death of a friend—these moments of despair can make our girls lose sight of God’s goodness.
But even in the loneliness, disappointment, fear, and anger—He is still good. Consider penning these words on a sticky note or reciting them as a daily affirmation. Scripture, like the Book of Job, reassures us that when we seek first the will of God, instead of our own plans, we will ultimately be blessed.
