Forgiveness: A Key to Shifting from Shame to Redemption

Is your girl growing up in a faith culture of redemption or shame

Young Christians often view the faith as a list of “do’s and don’ts”—all rules, no mercy. While it’s incredibly important that our girls grow up learning what is right and wrong in the eyes of God, it’s also vital that your girl learn about His mercy and redemption too.

Scripture tells us that God’s mercies are new every morning, that His faithfulness and compassion for us is great. As humans, we’re all sinners. It’s how we treat others with Christ-like kindness and mercy that sets believers apart from the crowd. The next time someone sins against you, forgive. Your daughter will witness first-hand the redemption of God’s love and mercy though us on Earth.

Lamentations 3:22-23
