For Christians, a Vocation is More than Just Work

Is your daughter discerning her vocation? To the world, the word “vocation” refers simply to an occupation, but to Christians, vocation is so much more than work—it is the purpose and calling God placed on our hearts from the moment He created us.

But beyond a calling to a specific task, duty, or role, discovering her vocation means your daughter is finding the fullness of the person God created her to be. Each beloved child of God has a vocation as unique as the body, intellect, and personality with which they were bestowed.

Support your daughter through a season of discernment by praying that her vocation would be revealed, encouraging service to others, and surrounding your family with a community of Godly men and women who live out their calling.
