Do Your Girl’s Talents Point to Herself or to The Lord?

In an art gallery, paintings shine in splendor. Their audience can choose to give glory to the art piece or the art creator. The same applies in life.

As you watch your girl grow and mature, you will likely see her unique talents surface. Talents, like all of God’s good gifts, are freely given to your girl. She will come to a crossroads with her talents upon recognizing them—what will she DO with those talents? Will she use the attention to build herself up or point to God, the one who gave her those talents?

1 Corinthians 12 tells us that each person has unique giftings, but all are from the same God. Teach your girl to honor God by giving glory to the Talent Giver rather than the talent itself.
