Do It Yourself: Does Your Daughter Know She is Capable on Her Own?

Don’t you just love a good DIY project? DIY, or “Do it Yourself,” project ideas abound in today’s world of YouTube and blog tutorials. Everything from “how to sew a dress for beginners” to “how to make a homemade tent.”

Your daughter may want to try her hand at a DIY project. Support her by truly letting her “Do it Herself.” Fight the urge to swoop in and do the project for her and instead, teach her that she can rely on God’s strength and not just her own when she feels weak.

2 Corinthians says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Your girl’s DIY project is an excellent way for her to grow in her reliance on Christ!
