“I’m afraid I’ll stand out if I am the only girl who…” Has your girl found herself facing the reality that she’s different from others around her? This can be a shock to her spirit at first. Over time, she can go one of two ways: toward anxiety always trying to fit in or embrace her uniqueness in peace and joy.
God’s grand design for His People is full of diversity meaning while we enjoy some similarities, ultimately all are different—unique. Philippians 2:2 phrases “of one accord” to seal our togetherness under the mind of Christ, rather than the need to have the same skin color, music preferences, or political views.
As she grows, cultivate in your girl a healthy heart who knows to embrace Christ and appreciate the Tapestry of Different in His Kingdom.
