Today’s world seems fraught with unkind words from cable news to online conversations. This decline in civility can be confusing to your girl. Uncharitable words and inconsiderate phrasing can cut like a knife.  

Strengthen her with the knowledge that God desires us to be intentional with our words. Colossians 3:12 reminds us to share the virtues of love, compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, as we are God’s chosen people.
