How have you helped form your girl’s view of God? The ways we talk about, worship, revere, and interact with God in our daily lives shapes how our girls relate to Him as well. Beyond that, the more Truth we know about God and His love, the better we can embody it to the world. 

Using “Because God is” statements, show your girl that the names and traits of God spill over into her identity as a daughter made in His likeness. “Because God is loving, I can be kind.” “Because God is redeeming, I can forgive.” You get the idea.  

Together with your daughter, make a list of all God’s character traits— these are the “Because God is” statements. Then connect how those truths can spill out into her role as His Godly girl.
