Happy New Year! Is your girl ready to turn over a new leaf—perhaps with a Bible reading plan or a resolution? Turning the calendar’s last page can bring closure, but with the new calendar comes more challenges than just remembering to write a new date. 

Did you know that God is unchanging and as faithful as the rising and setting of the sun? The truth is that the same God who brought your girl through last year will see her through each day of this year and beyond. As you anticipate what the next year will bring, consider this: throughout the Old Testament a common blessing said, “May the Lord now show you kindness and faithfulness…” Pray this with your girl walking into the New Year.
