It’s a basic part of human nature to want to take control of our lives, and girls are no exception. They desire to be decision-makers in how they spend their time and with whom. The ironic thing? Girls tend to look outside to influencers for advice on trends from clothing to hairstyles.

But who influences their spiritual lives? Help your girl to focus inward with prayers and petitions to God, along with your loving support. Knowing that you are there to point them in the right direction reduces anxiety and lights a candle for faith to shine through.

St. Paul shares in Philippians: “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Work with your girl to establish the inner influence of peace.
