Times, they are a’changing, and life moves fast. If you thought fashion trends changed at the drop of a hat, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook would make your head spin! Social Media trends dart around the world lightning fast, then they’re done and forgotten, like the vapor of life described in Ecclesiastes. 

Keeping up with the current cultural moment can leave our kids feeling scrambled and perpetually confused. You see, culture cuts a trench clouding our view of eternity so we “can’t see the forest for the trees.”  

When she is swayed by cultural winds, remind your girl her roots lie in God and His Word. As cultural trends ripen, burst, and fade, read Isaiah 40:8 resounding that “the Word of the Lord stands forever.”
