How is your girl’s walk with the Lord? Does her life look more like a pristine, shiny red decorative apple on the table—vinyl and void of the fiber and fruit of the Spirit? OR does her heart echo the nine Fruit of the Spirit? 

The key to gauging spiritual growth is to avoid zooming in too far—so step back and see the bigger picture. Does she exhibit things like patience, self-control, and love all the time—NO. But is she GROWING in these things, little by little? If yes, you’re seeing evidence of the Lord’s work in her soul! 

While daily discipleship DOES matter in her long-term faith, the temperature gauge reveals a Godview—the real fruit He produces in her takes consistency and time.
