Comforting Your Girl’s Stressors through God’s Design for Wellness

When your girl was a baby, she had certain go-to habits that helped soothe her when she was sad, hungry, scared, or in pain. Swaddling, swaying, sleep—these were the cure-alls that you leaned on in her early months of life! But as she grows, soothing methods aren’t as simple.

When your girl carves out UNhealthy habits to soothe her aching soul, extreme emotions, or temporary discomfort, how do you respond? These habits can look like emotional eating or escapism by vegging out on a screen, with promiscuity, self-harm, and suicidal ideation being the most destructive of coping behaviors. These habits can deceive her mind into false comfort

Let the first eight verses of Psalm 62, honest prayer, and uplifting worship music be your Godly girl’s way to a fully well, renewed mind.

Romans 6; Psalm 62:1-8
