How Volunteer Day Shows Christ’s Character in Your Girl

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others…” Those instructions come from 1 Peter 4:10. Is your daughter utilizing her God-given time, talent, and treasure to serve others? If so, there’s a day of celebration for her selfless work!

April 20th is recognized nationally as “Volunteer Day”. In your effort to raise a Godly girl, instilling a heart for service should be a top priority. Service is a way to put legs on a girl’s faith, giving her the opportunity to embody Jesus’ compassionate empathy and better understand His sacrificial love.

Prioritize securing one volunteer opportunity on your family calendar this month. Let your daughter take the reins to seek out a deserving benefiting organization. Together your family can spread the gospel through your actions.
