From a Broken Wrist to a Broken Heart

Picture this: your daughter is gleefully making her way across the monkey bars when suddenly, she falls and breaks her wrist. You rush her to the nearest care center to get her the medical attention she needs. We treat physical injuries immediately.

But what about an injury to your daughter’s mental health? Dealing with depression after loss, chronic anxiety, or feeling the weighty pressure of being perfect—these are all instances where a girl’s health can also suffer.

Today, talk surrounding mental health is becoming less and less stigmatized, and because of this, people, especially girls, are getting the care they need. Time and again Scripture reminds us that God is in control, and not to worry. For some parents, the added support of a mental health provider, like a Christian counselor, can aid in raising a healthy Godly girl.
