Shyness, Stuttering, Chronic Illness, Diagnosed Anxiety. Does your girl see these hardships as her “thorns in the flesh” as Paul described in the New Testament? If she sees these things as obstacles holding her back, how can you guide her to a transformed mind in light of God’s Kingdom?
When Jesus talked about the treasure of the gospel message, he said it would be put into jars of clay. Clay jars are not the strongest container. Under pressure, they can crack. But the beauty is, once cracked, what’s inside can then shine through.
Remind your girl that her weaknesses are meant to allow God’s light to shine through her life. He can use her, even if she isn’t the strongest Godly girl. The Lord’s Kingdom can grow through your girl!
