Is Discipline Worth the Difficulty? Don’t Worry, the Bible Says YES

No child is perfect. They disobey…they fight with their siblings…sometimes they’re just downright hard to parent.  

For Christian parents looking for Godly advice on how to discipline their children, the book of Hebrews has plenty of wisdom to share. “God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”  

Godly discipline is more about guidance and less about punishment. The next time you find yourself needing to discipline your girl—pause. Consider how your discipline can create change for the better, not just temporarily patch the problem.
