Insert any unknown term in the question: “Where did you learn that?” This might be your reaction when your girl spouts the latest euphemism from the Urban Dictionary. Theologians and sociologists alike recognize that today’s western culture is Post-Christian. This means your girl’s friends might be more familiar with morality lessons on the Disney Channel than the Bible. Trusting culture to guide the human heart has resulted in Moral Relativism. So how does God redeem culture while we contend for the faith, as Jude 1:3b says? 

Treat your home as a training ground, intentionally teaching God’s commands and character. Turn to the Bible as the guide in all areas of family life. This strengthens your girl to face the Enemy’s flaming arrows meant to cripple her faith. Remember, the Holy Spirit is with you at every step.
