When Playing Dress-Up Becomes a Chance to Affirm Her Identity

It’s easy to see why girls are so fascinated with royalty, with all the glamour that comes with high society and the crown jewels… but does your girl recognize that she is a daughter of a King herself?

God loves all of His people equally, tiara or not. He created each of us with a special and definite purpose, and He calls us to life in accordance with His plan. As daughters of the King, our girls are loved, cherished, and chosen. Do they recognize their “royal-status” in the eyes of God?

Next time you play princess with your girl, seek out ways to affirm her identity as a daughter of the King. Read Scripture like Proverbs 31 and Psalm 139 together and talk about true beauty, that which her Creator beholds.
