If your girl plays a sport, you know the importance of strength and conditioning! Physical training is a key component to excelling in her sport, but have you ever thought about how spiritual training is just as foundational to her well-being?
Spiritual training doesn’t have to be as strenuous as physical exercise, but we should encourage our girls to challenge themselves to strengthen their faith the same way exercising would fortify her muscles!
Tailor her spiritual training to her interests. She can watch faith-honoring documentaries on the history of the Bible, or queue up podcasts from faith leaders. And of course, reading the Word is essential to any spiritual endeavor. Psalms reminds us “The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”
