Why Difficult Seasons are a Sign of Spiritual Repair in Her Heart

After the bitter winter wind breaks, the spring season ushers in glorious sunshine, bursting blooms and…potholes. In the midst of some long-awaited seasonal relief, we have to face some not-so-desirable circumstances.

With this new season comes the responsibility of repair. It’s kind of indicative of our lives, isn’t it? If your girl has recently endured a hardship, or is in the middle of the battle, remind her of the words of Phillippians 2:13—God is at work within us. We are in repair!

After trying seasons, it can be tempting to ignore the ramifications of our difficulty, running ahead without facing the potholes it left behind. But instead, call in the repair crew. Through intentional prayer, reading Scripture, and time spent in community with fellow believers, we can begin to heal.
