Proverbs says, “Desire without knowledge is not good – how much more will hasty feet miss the way!”

Encourage her to slow down and embrace this current season of life. Empathize with her desire to move quickly toward the future. Most importantly, be transparent about the potential pain and suffering that can come with moving too fast and rushing through life. This will help open her heart and inspire her to find joy and contentment in the here and now.
