Why Mixed-Age Play Fosters Discipleship Among Kids

Thanks to jam-packed schedules and not a whole lot of free play time, kids today are experiencing less and less of what’s known as Mixed-Age Play, which is exactly what it sounds like—kids of different ages interacting together. There’s great value in giving your girl a space to learn from younger and older girls!

The Titus 2 model of discipleship is all about learning from our elders and creating community between the generations—the same holds true in girlhood!

If you find your daughter is struggling to find a place to engage with kids of varying ages, consider how she might benefit from a mixed-age space, like a camp or an American Heritage Girls Troop. Through multi-age interaction, she’ll grow in confidence and leadership!
