The military has a process known as “reconnaissance” or “recon” for short. Recon involves careful observation to plan the next move. During your girl’s in-the-home season, leverage cultural recon opportunities through a Biblical lens, helping her recognize each cultural shift and its anchor.  

In the Old Testament, Joshua sent a group into the Promised Land for recon—but their observations were divided upon reporting back. The majority interpreted what they saw through the lens of fear, but two anchored their observations on God’s explicit Word, offering an accurate view for the Israelites’ new home.  

As you direct your girl’s cultural understanding, lead her in a robust life of prayer wisely turning her heart to the frequency of God’s kingdom here on earth.
