Jesus Replaces Jealousy with Peace & Contentment in the Heart

Jealousy. It’s a powerful emotion that snuffs out joy and contentment from a person’s heart.

You may notice that your little girl is jealous because she has to share your attention and affection with her infant sibling. Your tween or teen girl may be jealous because her friend earned the lead role in the school play.

No matter the root of your daughter’s jealousy, teach her this truth in Proverbs, “A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.” Sit with her and help her see that jealousy makes her focus on what she doesn’t have and unable to be grateful for all her blessings.

Jesus yearns to replace your girl’s jealousy for a heart full of peace and gratitude.
