How to Instill a Heart of Thankfulness in Your Girl

Have you ever attended a birthday party and witnessed a child shredding the wrapping paper and opening everything without so much as a ‘thank you’ between gifts? It can be difficult to witness such a lack of gratitude in someone so young.

It’s our duty to instill a sense of thankfulness in our girls. Gratitude comes from a place of understanding. Does your girl have a wide-angle view of all she has compared to children around the world? Establishing empathy is an important component to raising a thankful child.

1 Chronicles 16:34
