Connecting Her Faith as a Story Rather Than a List of Facts

How often have you found yourself quizzing your girl through childhood? What color is this? What letter does this start with? There is value in testing knowledge, but must everything we learn be a quiz?

Rather than introducing these complex concepts through rote memorization in preparation for a quiz, consider teaching your girl about your faith tradition in a more conversational, story-telling way. After all, people best learn and retain information through stories and anecdotes. Why do you think Jesus had so many parables?!
